Meet Bonnie…
Bonnie is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CSPSP) and active member of Speech Pathology Australia.
After completing a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at LaTrobe University in 2010, Bonnie has gained experience working with paediatric and adult populations across regional and large metropolitan Victorian hospitals.
Most recently, Bonnie has held Senior Speech Pathology positions at Western Health and Latrobe Regional Hospital and currently holds a senior clinical role at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Bonnie has particular interests in airway management, swallowing disorders following stroke and neurological disorders, swallow and communication management following head and neck cancer, complex paediatric feeding and fussy eating.
Bonnie is trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding and has lead SOS fussy eating clinics and completed paediatric feeding assessments as part of her senior clinical role at Latrobe Regional Hospital.
Bonnie is passionate about ensuring Speech Pathology practice is individualised, client-centred, collaborative and reflects current evidence base.
Outside of work Bonnie is busy with 2 young kids and a puppy. She enjoys the beach, being outside in nature, online shopping and her morning coffee.
